This semester, we have a full slate of actions planned, and it starts with a Community Art Build on Thursday 1/29 from 11:00 AM at Dimond Library 3d floor. From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we’ll come together to make signs, design flyers, and build other materials we’ll use in actions throughout the semester.

At 1:00 PM, we’ll head to Thompson Hall to take a group photo in front of the President’s Office – holding our signs and wearing our union T-shirts – to show that graduate workers are united and ready to fight for a better contract.

Last August, we submitted our economic demands to the University administration, calling for better pay and benefits for all graduate employees. After months of stalling, UNH has finally responded with a counter-proposal – one that rejects all of our economic demands.

If we’re going to win a fair contract that meets our needs as graduate workers, we need to turn up the heat.
