We’re Voting Yes for our Union!

We’re voting UNION YES

Last month, we filed for a union election with the support of more than 70% of all UNH graduate workers. Now it’s time to vote UNION YES to establish our union, UNH GEU-UAW.

We know what life looks like without a union contract. For years, UNH graduate workers have suffered from low pay, inadequate benefits, and poor working conditions. We’ve seen our coworkers struggle to pay for housing, food, and medical bills. Last month, 75 of our staff colleagues were laid off, all while administrators continue to make more than 10x what graduate workers make.

But we’ve also seen our power when we work together. With our collective voice, we pressured UNH to sign an agreement recognizing our right to a union election. With a union contract, we can force the university to negotiate with us for fair pay, secure employment, and dignity in the workplace.

That’s why we’re voting UNION YES in our upcoming union election.
